Getting Started
Welcome to PrxmptStudix, your ultimate workspace for Prompt Engineering and Experimentation. This guide will help you understand the core concepts and get you started with your first experiment.
Core Concepts
PrxmptStudix is built around several key entities that work together to streamline your workflow:
Prompts: The templates for your AI interactions. You can version, tag, and organize them in the Prompt Library.
Datasets: Collections of variables and test cases. Use them to run the same prompt across multiple scenarios.
Personas: Defined AI roles. They allow you to test how different system instructions affect the output.
Businesses: Contextual information about a specific business or domain, providing deeper background for your prompts.
Experiments: The "Lab" where everything comes together. Run your prompts against different combinations of models, datasets, and personas to find the best performing setup.
Quick Start Workflow
To run your first experiment, follow these three simple steps:
Define your Variables: Start by creating a Dataset or a Persona. These will serve as the variables for your prompt.
Example: A Dataset of customer support queries or a Persona for a "Technical Expert".
Create a Prompt: Head over to the Prompt Library and create a new prompt. Use
{{variable_name}}syntax to include placeholders that will be filled by your data.Run an Experiment in the Lab: Go to the Lab and start a new experiment:
Select your Prompt.
Choose the Datasets and Personas you want to test.
Select the Models (e.g., GPT-4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet) you want to compare.
Hit Run and watch the magic happen!
