Variables Overview
The Variable Pages is where you manage the structured information used to fuel your experiments. While the Prompt Library stores your logic, the variables store the context and variables that make your prompts dynamic.
The library is comprised of three core asset types: Datasets, Personas, and Businesses.
1. Datasets: Datasets are best for high-volume, linear testing. They consist of simple lists of text rows.
Best for: Testing edge cases, bulk processing tasks, and variation testing.
Key Feature: AI-assisted row generation and duplicate detection to ensure clean test data.
2. Personas: Personas provide deep human context. They are multi-tab profiles covering demographics, psychological traits (Big Five), and narrative biographies.
Best for: User testing, role-playing scenarios, and linguistic tone adjustments.
Key Features:
The AI Wand can autofill complex psychological metrics based on a simple character bio.
Batch Generation allows you to spin up dozens of varied persona identities.
3. Businesses: Businesses provide corporate and brand context. They store industry details, target audience segments, brand voice guidelines, and visual color palettes.
Best for: B2B marketing testing, brand voice consistency checks, and corporate policy simulations.
Key Feature:
The AI Wand can autofill complex business details based on a simple company description.
Batch Generation allows you to spin up dozens of varied corporate identities to test market positioning.
