Personas

Personas are detailed profiles of target users, customers, or characters used to test how different "types" of people interact with your AI prompts. By defining complex backgrounds, personality traits, and motivations, you can ensure your prompt engineering is robust across a diverse range of human perspectives.

Profile Structure

A Persona is divided into three distinct sections to provide a holistic view of the individual:

1. Demographics: The foundational "who" of the persona, utilizing a comprehensive library of global locations.

  • Identity: First Name, Surname, Age, Gender Identity, and Ethnicity/Race.

  • Location: Smart location picking with Country and State/Region support, plus population Density (Urban, Suburban, Rural).

  • Socioeconomic: Occupation, Employment Status, Education Level, and a formatted Household Annual Income field. Also includes Marital Status and Children Count.

  • Beliefs: Political Party Identification, Ideology Score (0-100% slider), and detailed Religious context (Affiliation, Attendance Frequency, and Importance of Faith).

  • Health: General Health status, Disability Status, Health Consciousness level, and a list of Chronic Conditions.

2. Psychographics: Internal personality structures and decision-making patterns.

  • Big Five Traits: Sliders (0-100%) and descriptive text for Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Emotional Stability.

  • Moral Foundations: Sliders and descriptions for core ethical pillars like Care, Fairness, Loyalty, Authority, and Sanctity.

  • Decision Heuristics: A manageable list of mental shortcuts such as Confirmation Bias, Sunk Cost Fallacy, or Loss Aversion.

3. Narrative Context: situational details and emotional drivers.

  • Slogan: A short, punchy tagline that captures the persona's essence.

  • Biography Summary: A narrative background for deep context.

  • Emotional Lists: Specialized editors for:

    • Current Stressors: Immediate pressures or anxieties.

    • Happy Moments: Positive triggers and memories.

    • Inspiration Triggers: What motivates or sparks creativity.

  • Technical Literacy: Comfort level with technology and AI.

AI-Assisted Workflows

Creating detailed personas manually can be time-consuming. PrxmptStudix offers several AI-powered tools to accelerate this process:

  • AI Profile Generation: Start with a basic concept (e.g., "A skeptical retired teacher in Texas") and let the AI generate a complete, consistent profile across all three tabs.

  • Batch Profile Generation: Toggle Batch Mode to create multiple unique personas simultaneously.

    • Variable Binding: Use double curly braces {{variable_name}} in your description to inject data from existing datasets, folders, or other personas.

    • Draft & Review: The AI first generates a list of "Draft" names and taglines. You can select only the best candidates before committing to a full profile generation.

  • The AI Wand (Autofill): Fill Missing Fields: A "Smart Autofill" that scans the current profile and populates only the empty fields, ensuring consistency with previous data.

Trait Help & Context

Understanding complex psychographic traits is made easy with Contextual Help:

  • Each personality trait slider and specific demographic field has a help icon (?).

  • Clicking it opens a guide explaining what the trait means and how "Low" vs. "High" scores manifest in behavior.
