External Providers
External Providers allow you to quickly send your prompt templates in third-party AI interfaces like LobeChat, ChatGPT, or Claude.ai.
1. How it Works
When an external provider is enabled, it appears in the "Send Prompt to..." menu in the Prompt Library and Lab.
Workflow: Clicking a provider button opens your default web browser and navigates to the provider's official interface.
Pre-filling: PrxmptStudix automatically injects your current prompt text into the provider's input area (where supported by their API).

3. Configuration
Visibility: Toggle specific providers on or off to curate your "Send to" menu.
Icons: The system displays the official icon for each service to help you quickly identify your target platform.
4. Important Limitations
Character Limits: Due to standard browser URL character restrictions (GET request limits), prompts sent to external providers are limited to approximately 2,000 characters.
Disabled State: If your prompt template (including system instructions) exceeds this limit, the external provider buttons will be automatically disabled to prevent broken URLs or truncated data.
Solution: If you need to test very long prompts, we recommend using the internal Lab with direct API connections.
Authentication: PrxmptStudix does not manage your credentials for external providers. You must already be logged into those services in your default browser for the pre-filling to work seamlessly.
